Cognitive Technologies Delivers Department of Transportation Training Components
Austin, TX. January 27, 2012. Cognitive Technologies--a consulting firm specializing in organizational improvement, Microsoft consulting, and staffing for Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies--has completed the redesign of materials certification training for a leading state Department of Transportation.
Cognitive Technologies used the Performance DNA Training Design and Development methodology that we developed to convert existing training materials into performance-centered training materais that better align with valued outcomes. Working with Platinum Performance Partners, we then applied information design and adult learning techniques to improve the readability, focus, and retention of the materials. Training components that were re-designed include the materials certification study guide consisting of 10 chapters and several appendices, streamlined training modules in PowerPoint, and a facilitator guide.
